The Friday extra credit lab will be nothing short of awesome. We will wrap a highly reactive Group 2 metal inside a copper cage. Using a Eudiometer, we will react the metal with a strong acid and measure the amount of gas produced. What type of gas do you think is produced? Using the ideal gas law we should be able to calculate the molar mass of the gas.
